On Thursday, January 12, Chinatown Restaurant Week, presented by Kaimen Company, held its first Chinese language press briefing to introduce the strategy behind Chinatown Restaurant Week and to outline opportunities for restaurants and non-restaurants to participate and community groups to support Chinatown Restaurant Week.

At this press briefing, the following Chinatown Restaurant Week 2012 Founding Community Supporters (in formation) were announced, many of whom were represented in person or via conference call:
